More about this product
A for sale sign is the printed board that goes on a property to tell passers-by it is on the market and who to call. Ours are double-sided, in 10mm Coroplast or 3mm composite aluminum, in nine sizes.
Printed on 10mm Coroplast (a fluted plastic board) or 3mm composite aluminum (a rigid panel with an aluminum face), both widely used for outdoor real estate signs. Double-sided printing lets the same sign be read from both directions of the road, or you can run a different design on each side.
Nine sizes run from a compact 24 x 32 in up to 36 x 48 in, in both portrait and landscape proportions. Use the grommet option if you plan to hang the sign from a frame or post.

Coroplast or aluminum?
10mm Coroplast is light, weatherproof and inexpensive, the everyday choice for a single listing. 3mm composite aluminum is rigid and stays flat, the better choice for a sign reused across many listings or hung where it will be judged.
Which finish should I choose?
UV printed straight onto the board is the best value. Gloss film lamination adds a wipeable layer that holds colour through rain and road spray. Fully reflective with gloss film lamination sends light back toward headlights, which suits a road that stays busy after dark or an evening open house.
What do the order options mean?
Production time only: the time we take to print your order. It does not include shipping or delivery.
Proofing: print as is, or have an emailed PDF proof sent to you to check before printing.
Hire a designer: add professional design help if you do not have a print-ready file.

Can I hang the sign?
Choose the 5 standard grommets option if you are hanging the sign from a frame or a post.
Can I upload my own artwork?
Yes. Upload a print-ready PDF, AI, PSD, PNG or JPG (up to 25MB), built at full sign size in CMYK with 0.125 inch of bleed.
Is there an artwork template for my size?
Yes. Each size has a free downloadable PDF guide showing the trim line, the 0.125 in bleed and a suggested safe area (1 in inside trim). Find it in the Templates tab on this page.
How should I lay out the design?
Keep it short: one big headline, your name or brokerage, and a phone number large enough to read from a passing car. Use strongly contrasting colours and keep text and logos inside the safe area. Add the Email PDF Proof option if you are not sure.
How long does production take?
Standard production is 2-3 business days, with 24-hour and 8-hour options at checkout. The option covers production time only.
Low-resolution files
Images saved from a website, social media or a screenshot are usually too small and print blurry or pixelated. Build your file at the full size you ordered, at a resolution of 100 to 150 dpi, or start from a high-quality original. Stretching a small image to fit does not add detail.
Uploading RGB instead of CMYK
Screens use RGB, but printing uses CMYK. An RGB file will still print, but colours can shift, especially reds and bright blues. Set your file to CMYK before you export so what you approve is closer to what prints.
No bleed
If your background or image runs to the edge, extend it 0.125 in past the trim on every edge so a thin white edge does not show after trimming.
Text or logos too close to the edge
Keep phone number, name and logo at least 1 in inside the trim. Anything closer to the edge can be trimmed off or look cramped.
Wrong size or scale
Build the file at the full size you ordered, at 100%, not a smaller size scaled up. The free template on the Templates tab shows the right size, bleed and safe area for each size.
Live fonts and transparency
Convert fonts to outlines and flatten transparency and layers, so nothing changes or goes missing when we open your file.
Both sides in one file
Different design on each side? Separate files, or a two-page PDF labelled front and back.
Unsupported file types
We accept PDF, AI, PSD, PNG or JPG, up to 25MB. Other file types, such as EPS or TIFF, cannot be uploaded.
Not sure about your file? Check the File Setup tab before uploading.
